Facebooks Secret project: Project SPARTAN 0

Now facebook is gaming on mobile platform too. According to reports facebook is nearing to the release of an mobile App. TechCrunch reports that facebook has a secret project of a photosharing iphone App which is similar to that of instagram and color. No one outside the company knows how the new app works. TechCrunch says that it is a hybrid of Instagram, Color, Path.

There is also another new which says that facebook is on a secret project called project spartan. It is a code name for a new platform based on HTML 5. The aim of this project is to reach 100 million users who regularly uses HTML5 supported browsers like safari in iPhone, ipad etc. Instead of developing a facebook App for iOS, facebook is developing a mobile browser based cloud platform which will run on safari. So actually it will not be an App alone instead it will be an new OS.


Facebook targets iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad users. According to TechCrunch about 80 outside developers are working for the new platform.
