The latest Jailbreak is a browser based one using which you can easily jailbreak an iPhone or an iPad. This time, Jailbreakme.com works on vulnerability in the PDF reader. The Safari browser downloads a pdf file which facilitates the process of Jailbreaking.

Do u think this jailbreaking is safe to you? Using a Jailbroken phone user can use non-Apple approved Apps. At the same time an attacker can easily install malicious apps or code into your device. Thus the attacker obtains full access or control to your Apple device. He can install keylogger or some kind of Bots.

Apple recently responded to this security issue and they said they will fix this at the earliest. Critics are in the opinion that Apple is very slow in fixing security problems.

2. Do not try to open links from unknown and untrusted websites.
3. Do not click on links which are suspicious even from trusted source.
4. Apply patch as soon as they release them. Patch your device regularly to stay safe.
