Motorola supply iDEN hansets to NII Holdings 0

As a result of a bilateral agreement signed by Motorola and NII Holdings, Motorola agreed to supply iDEN handsets to NII Holdings till 2014. iDEN technology is mostly related to the Push to Talk service and this agreement aims spreading this technology across Latin America.

NII Holdings is operating under the brand name NEXTEL. The agreement between Motorola and NII holdings have been providing affordable, high quality service to Latin American regions like Brazil, Chile, Peru, Mexico etc. The above mentioned Push to talk service is used by millions of people across these regions as a mean for instant communication. This agreement will help to provide much more reliable service using motorolas handset that will support NIIs futre generation networks including Push to talk and 3G.
